Sovjet occupation
After the war the Sovjets occupied European countries that they had liberated from the nazi’s. Like Poland, East Germany and the Ukraine. The sovjets installed a dictatorship in these countries.
And now Russians still believe that these countries belong their great empire. But nobody wants to belong to Russia. These countries were first liberated from the nazi’s and decades later from the Russians. In the sovjet era people got depressed. They didn’t do shit. Just hang on the couch watching ridiculous programs on tv. A spoiled life. Now they never want to be friends with Russia ever again. And that’s what modern Russians fail to understand. People from the former satelite states hatr Russia. Hate Russia for stealing their lives. The lives they could have lived without Russia.
Russians cultivate a form of nostalgia, back to the days of the USSR. But the only country that wants to return to the great empire is Russis. Just Russia.
